| "Tack Room" - Apt 9 | |
| Flashback: Tack room was originally built onto
the barn to hold the saddles, harnesses and pack animal equipment. The Ranch
had a funny old white mule many years ago with a sense of humor, who would
delight in tricking humans, but keep his anonymity. One of his favorite
tricks would be to sneak through the herd of horses in the corral and open
the gate. He would then return quickly to his spot on the other side of the
pen pretending he had been there all along. Of course, all the horses would
leave the corral with wranglers in hot pursuit. This happened for years
until someone finally caught him executing his dastardly deed. A wrangler
hid around the corner lying on the ground, and was astonished at what he
saw: the mule dropped down on his knees and crawled so he would not be seen!
After his trick, he crawled back to the other side of the pen. |
