WAPITI - Apt 20

Wapiti, "Elk" in local Indian language, is a  large furnished log built 1 bedroom, 1bathroom cabin in the main TLazy7 Lodge. It is located in the main lodge, which hosts weddings and parties below in the grand ballroom. Flashback: The original lodge burned down in 1991 from a broken gas line, and the new structure was built from natural unpeeled logs at 30 years dead standing. The new building opened in 1992. Once while some caterers were setting up a wedding in the ballroom, they saw an old cowboy in jeans and white hair walk in and sit down at the bar. Only there was something peculiar about him . . they could see through him! They reported it to the owner, who brought out on old photo of "Pappy Clyde", the ranch chef, who had worked in the old lodge, and they identified him as the man they both saw. He has never been seen again, but is believed to be looking after the Lodge now. Wapiti is 760 sf plus a 110 sf deck, featuring vaulted ceilings, a gas log fireplace and a full bathtub, set beneath towering pines, for $1600 a month plus $150/month fixed utilities (gas and electric), total $1750. It can be combined with Puma to make a two bedroom, 2 bath for $2400 total including utilities. Sounds of Maroon Creek can be heard from most of the apartment. Maroon Creek road is closed beyond the Ranch in summer and winter to traffic, but is a very popular recreation corridor for bicyclists and walkers. Below, Wapiti's living room deck is highlighted on the second floor. The entrance to the cabin however is on the second floor, and you can drive to the door, so no stairs!

	The main living room features cathedral ceilings and a gas fireplace. New paint throughout 2014.
	Bedroom is down left hallway, entrance is right hallway. Bathroom and kitchen are both on the right.
	The kitchen is galley style, with views of Maroon Creek.
	The large bedroom is has windows on two sides and hanging closet, with sounds of Maroon Creek out of the window
