Flashback: Honemooner, part of the original homestead cabin, contained
many handmade wooden lamps crafted by a mysterious foreginer who arrived on the Ranch one day wanting work. He was hardworking, quiet, humble, and capable, and loved making things with his hands. One day, two gentelmen guests came to the TLazy7 for a two week visit to fish and ride horses. At the end of their stay, they approached Lou and Had Deane and confessed they were FBI agents sent to observe an employee, and they had to arrest him. He apparently was a wanted spy, who was prod ucing maps of Aspen and the surrounding area, detailing vacant cabins in the mountains were paratroopers could hide in an invasion. he was taken away and never seen again, but his handywork still remains as a part of the TLazy7 history. |
